Common questions
Why split the record from the AI?
The record is a one-time job: connect the hospitals, pull the history, keep it yours for life. The AI is different — Ask Wellet and CareSignals run on inference we pay for every month, so an engaged caregiver actually costs us more over time. Splitting the two lets us keep the record itself affordable and permanent, and lets the intelligence layer pay for its own compute. It also means caregivers who only want a clean record don't subsidize caregivers who use the AI heavily.
Do I need the subscription?
No. The $10 record unlock stands on its own — timeline, EHR connections, wearables, care circle, document uploads. Ask Wellet and CareSignals sit on top of that record for caregivers who want the AI reading across it. Start with the record, add the subscription if and when you need it.
I signed up early. What happens to me?
Anyone who signed up before this pricing page went live keeps their first loved one's record free for life. That was the promise, and it stands. The Ask Wellet and CareSignals subscription is new and available to everyone at the same price. If you signed up early and you're not sure whether that applies to you, email
hello@mywellet.com and we'll sort it out.
Why $10 per loved one, not $10 per family?
Because each loved one is its own record — their own hospital connections, their own labs, their own changes to notice across visits. The work scales with the loved one, not with the family member. A sandwich-generation caregiver helping both parents and an adult child with disabilities pays $30, once, never again. Anyone you invite into a loved one's care circle uses Wellet free for that loved one — the inviter pays for the record, everyone else helps.
When exactly does the $10 charge?
After your first hospital connects for that loved one and their records start flowing in. Adding a loved one is free. Searching for their hospitals is free. You only pay once you can actually see Wellet working for them. On iOS, you'll see Apple's standard purchase sheet at that moment. On the web, Stripe handles it.
What is Wellet Pro?
Wellet Pro is a separate product for people doing deep personal work with their own health data — genomic imports, pedigree rendering, hereditary pattern scans. It's sold in pay-per-use credit packs because those features cost real compute to run. If you're a caregiver, you do not need Pro. If you're a self-tracker who wants those tools, Pro is built for you.
What does a Wellet Pro credit actually buy?
A credit is Wellet Pro's unit of compute. Heavier operations — a full genomic import, a hereditary pattern scan across a curated variant set, a multi-generation pedigree render — spend more credits than light ones like previews and single-variant lookups. Every operation shows its exact credit cost before it runs, so you never spend without seeing the number first. Credits never expire. Starter (100 credits) is meant for trying one full workflow, Standard (300) for ongoing work, Power (750) for serial family-history and rare-disease work.
Can I try Wellet before signing up?
Yes. You can try the live document parser at
mywellet.com/try without signing up. Drop a discharge summary, see what Wellet reads in seconds.
Does Wellet sell my data?
Never. We don't sell, share, or advertise against your health data. The only people who see your loved one's records are the people you invite into the care circle.

How does Wellet stay sustainable?
Three sources: the $10 record unlock from new caregivers, the optional Ask Wellet and CareSignals subscription that covers the AI's ongoing compute, and the separate Wellet Pro credit product. Foundation grants and mission-aligned partner licenses backstop the mission side of the work.

What if $10 is a hardship?
Email hello@mywellet.com and we will unlock the loved one's record at no cost, and cover the subscription if you need it. No questions, no proof required. Caregiving is hard enough.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. On the web, 30-day no-questions refund. On iOS, Apple handles refunds through their standard window. Email hello@mywellet.com either way.
Who is Wellet for?
Adult children caregivers, spouses caring for a loved one, anyone navigating a parent's or family member's healthcare while holding down their own life. If you've ever found yourself logging into a portal at 11pm trying to remember what the doctor said three weeks ago — Wellet is built for you.
