Every appointment. Every medication. All in one place.
Built for family caregivers of VA-enrolled Veterans — including the ~98,000 caregivers enrolled in the VA Caregiver Support Program. Wellet reads the VA Health Summary — the complete record already downloadable from VA.gov — and gives you the full picture without digging through portal after portal.
Free for the first year, and always 30% off after that — for VA caregivers and Veterans. See the offer.
The coordination burden
You're the one who holds it all. No tool was built for that.
VA caregivers carry a specific, exhausting kind of load — and until now, no tool was designed for the person doing the actual work.
The coordination weight
Your Veteran's health information lives inside the VA system. You're the person doing the day-to-day coordination — the one who remembers the last lab result, the exact medication dose, which specialist said what. That's not a small job. Wellet stays on top of it with you.
The credential reality
The VA hasn't built a caregiver proxy system yet. In practice, most caregivers download the VA Health Summary using their family member's VA.gov login — or the Veteran downloads it themselves and hands it over. Wellet doesn't require anything else. Download the file, upload it here.
The outside appointment gap
VA records don't travel well. When your family member sees an outside specialist — a cardiologist, an orthopedist, a community neurologist — no one in that room has the VA's data. You're the bridge. Wellet makes sure you always have what they need.
How it works
Four steps. About ten minutes. Done.
No VA approval required. No API setup. No waiting. The VA Health Summary is a file your family member can download right now — and Wellet reads every section of it.
Sign in at VA.gov/my-health
Go to VA.gov/my-health and sign in with Login.gov or ID.me. The old MyHealtheVet URL (myhealth.va.gov) now redirects there automatically.
Go to Medical Records
Select My Health in the top navigation, then choose Medical records from the left sidebar or the dashboard card.
Download the VA Health Summary
Look for VA Health Summary — not "Blue Button Report," which is a different format. Select Download VA Health Summary and choose the XML format when prompted. The PDF works too, but XML gives Wellet the most complete picture.
Upload to Wellet — done in 10 seconds
Inside Wellet, tap Add VA Health Summary, select the file (it'll be named something like VA_Health_Summary.xml), and Wellet reads it immediately. Your family member's timeline populates on the spot.
What Wellet reads
Everything in the VA Health Summary, organized.
The VA Health Summary is a structured XML document — Wellet reads every clinical section and turns it into a timeline you can actually use.
Conditions
The full problem list with onset dates where available — so you can walk into any appointment with a complete picture of what's been diagnosed.
Medications
The active medication list with dosage and indication. When a new prescription comes in at an outside appointment, the full list is right there.
Allergies
Substance, reaction type, and severity. Critical information that often doesn't make it from the VA chart to an outside provider's intake form.
Immunizations
Vaccine names and administration dates — useful for community providers, travel medicine, and care transitions.
Lab Results
Panel names, result values, and dates. Wellet reads each result into the timeline so you can follow the trend across visits — not just the most recent number.
Vital Signs
The most recent readings — blood pressure, weight, BMI, and more. Useful context at any appointment, not just VA visits.
Procedures
Surgical and clinical procedures with dates — the kind of history that matters when a new specialist asks what's already been tried.
Point-in-time snapshot
The VA Health Summary reflects the Veteran's record as of the download date. It doesn't update automatically — but re-uploading a fresh copy from VA.gov takes less than two minutes, and Wellet merges it with what's already there.
Your data
Private by design. Yours to control.
Health data is not a product. Wellet treats it like the sensitive, personal information it is.
Encrypted and isolated
Every record is stored encrypted and isolated with row-level security — scoped to your account, inaccessible to other users. The raw VA Health Summary file is stored in a private bucket with the same protection.
You own it
You control who sees your family member's data. You can export everything or delete it anytime — no hoops, no support tickets. The data is yours, not Wellet's.
Never trained on
Your health data is never used to train AI models, shared with advertisers, or sold to third parties. It exists in Wellet for one purpose: to help you coordinate care.
Our promise
Free the first year. 30% off for life after that.
If you care for a VA-enrolled Veteran — or you’re a Veteran using Wellet for your own care — Wellet is free for your first full year, and always 30% less than our standard price from there on. No code. No hoops. No expiration. Just tell us when you add the person you care for.
Year one is on us
Every feature, including AI Health Summaries, Ask Wellet, EHR integration, and unlimited document upload — free for 365 days from the day you first mark the person you care for as VA-enrolled.
30% off, always
When year two begins, you keep 30% off our standard pricing for as long as you use Wellet to care for a VA-enrolled Veteran. We’d rather take a smaller subscription forever than make you choose between care and cost.
No gatekeeping
Self-attestation today — a single checkbox during onboarding. Once VA ID.me sign-in is live in Wellet (in review with the VA Lighthouse team), verification becomes automatic.
This offer covers caregivers of any VA-enrolled Veteran (PCAFC, PGCSS, or any enrolled Veteran) and Veterans themselves. If life circumstances change and you’re no longer caring for a Veteran, the discount simply adjusts — we won’t surprise you with a bill.
"Wellet has been in my head for years. The app is less than a month old. There will be bugs. When you find one, tap the bug icon inside the app — it goes straight to me."— Betsy Eble, founder
